Graigue Ballycallan U14s visited John’s Park on Monday last to play city outfit O’Loughlin Gaels in the 4th and final match of their league campaign.

The boys took advantage of a stiff breeze early on to build up a lead of 1-6 to no score after 15 minutes of play, with some great individual scores from Jack Butler and Oisín Egan. This seemed to knock the confidence from the Gaels with the Graigue boys piling on relentless pressure, the scores came easily and they went to the break with a comfortable lead.

This afforded the mentors the opportunity to shuffle the team a bit with 5 Subs introduced in the second 30, all players proved their worth and fought hard to try gain their place in the team for the games ahead.  O’Loughlin’s fought hard to get back into the game and produced some of their best hurling late on to register some fine scores.
