Big congrats to our U13 hurlers who won the Lisdowney 7s Kilkenny Supporters Shield Final on Saturday 4th August 2018.
Their first match in the competition was on Saturday 21st July against Camross and they lost this match on a scoreline of 3-9 to 2-7. This put them in the Kilkenny Supporters Shield competition and they were up against Thomastown in the next round and won that match 3-12 to 5-2 and were now though to the Quarter Final on Saturday 4th August. In this match they played Galmoy/Windgap and recorded a great win 2-15 to 2-3. A Semi Final match against city team Dicksboro was up next and the lads recorded another excellent win 4-5 to 3-3. They were now through to the final and pitted against Mullinavat. Every one of the lads put in massive effort and were rewarded with a fantastic win 2-10 to 3-6. Well done to the lads and their trainers!
