With both sides unbeaten to date in the League, this match last Saturday in Palmerstown, would see one team top the group. In front of a large attendance, both sides looked evenly matched in the opening stages but when their opponents hit the GBC defence for two goals in quick succession, GBC were left chasing the game to the finish.To their credit GBC battled back to be only 4 points in arrears at half-time but despite their efforts it was not to be their day. Next up Tullogher Rosbercon on Sunday 2nd Sept in Ballyhale.
