Graigue Ballycallan U13’s played Rower Inistoige in Round 3 of the Roinn B League recently. Confidence was high going into the game after winning our opening two games. The loss of several players due to holidays told as the team never reached the previous level of performance in the opening two games. First half was tight with both defences on top, our only score of the half came from Ben McEvoy (0-1).
Half Time: GBC 0-1, Rower Inistioge 0-4.
Rower Inistioge came out stronger in the 2nd half and pushed on to win on a scoreline of: Rower Inistoige 2-9, GBC 1-2. Disappointing performance overall, hopefully this is our “bad” match out of the way.
