U14 A Camogie Semi Final v Glenmore 15/9/18

Our U14s travelled to Hugginstown on Saturday last 16th September to face Glenmore in the Roinn A Semi Final. Our girls made a promising start to this match and hard work from our midfield meant a good supply of ball into the forward line which started to reap dividends. At half time they held a strong lead but more hard work was needed in the second half to build on this. From numbers 1-24 this team had leaders all over the pitch and played with great heart and determination to qualify for a well earned spot in the Roinn A Final! Read more

U12 Camogie season draws to a close

Our U12s have now finished up after a busy year. This team showed great skill and determination and gave some brilliant performances throughout the year. We started off with a few games of blitzes where the girls were often tested against tough opposition but always played to the end and as a team performed well. After our initial round of blitzes we moved on to our League games. The girls really enjoyed these matches and some courageous displays were often matched with some great results! The tackling and team work continued to improve throughout the year and we are all very proud of how these girls developed over the year. Well done to all for the hard work and brilliant team displays, these girls will no doubt be future stars for St. Brigid’s Camogie Club! St. Brigid’s Abú!
