U10 Go Games – Team White – 11/05/2015

On Monday evening 11/5/2015 GBC U10 White Team welcomed James Stephens to Kilmanagh. In a very entertaining game both sides deserve great credit for their display of hurling skills and determination. GBC opened the scoring with points from Jake O’Brien, Billy O’Neill and Jeff Neary. James Stephens responded with a goal before the industrious Jeff found the net twice. Read more

U10 Hurling news – March 2015

photo 3 Our U10’s return outdoors to Kilmanagh Saturday 28th March having completed four weeks indoor training in Wallslough. The boys showed little rustiness as they worked on the basic skills and speed during the four weeks. We look forward to a successful year ahead with plenty of training/matches being organised over the coming months.
Thanks to coaches Ger, Philly, Niall, Billy, Willie and Nicky for their commitment to the boys.

U10 Blitz Saturday 20th September 2014 – Tom Ryall Park, Kilmanagh

We hosted a very successful U-10 Blitz on Saturday morning 20/09/2014 in Kilmanagh. Teams from Durrow Harps (Laois), Moycarkey Borris (Tipperary) and our own two u-10 teams participated. The teams were split into two groups. Graigue-Ballycallan teams topped each group after some keenly contested games with not much separating the teams. Read more

U10 C.J. Kickham’s Club Mullinahone Tournament – 30/08/2014

On Saturday our U-10 team did us proud in the annual Mullinahone Tournament. We paraded through the village with teams from Cork, Tipperary, Carlow, Derry, Antrim, Clare, Galway, Meath, Laois, Limerick, Tyrone, Waterford and Offaly. We were honoured to represent Kilkenny along with Windgap. Charles J. Kickham was born in Mullinahone in 1828 and is famous for his novel  “Knocknagow” and the Tipperary Anthem “Slievenamon”  which he wrote. Read more
