Team Blue played their opening match of Go Games against a John Lockes A on Saturday 25th of April. A strong first half showing from Callan gave them a healthy lead of 4-1 to 1-3 with our scores coming from Aaron McEvoy and James Casey.
A few switches at half time got our boys back in the game. With Aidan Comerford pulling off some great saves in goal, Team Blue began to get on top. Paidi Egan and Aidan Cahill began to dominate the full back line and Ryan Corcoran cleared ball after ball. Elliot Teehan and Aaron got some lovely scores from midfield. Jack Docherty and James Casey kept the ball moving inside to the ever dangerous Ben Young and James O’Halloran. A goal from Aaron McEvoy with the last puck of the game levelled the game 4-6 to 5-3. Well done to both teams on a great display of hurling.
