Team White played Thomastown in Kilmanagh on Thursday 7th May 2015. A strong first half gave the lads a commanding first half lead of 5-4 to no score.
The defence, made up of Jeff Neary, Sean Roberts, Pat Purcell, Martin Brennan and Cillian Hoyne played well and gave the Thomastown forwards little room.
In midfield Billy O’Neill, who fielded some great high balls and Ryan Cody, who tackled fiercely, were commanding throughout. Up front we were treated to the Dean and Jake show with both scoring at ease. James Brennan, Sean McGrath and Sean Dillon also hurled well and were unlucky not to convert a few chances.
In the second half the team was changed with the forwards moving back and vice versa. The lads continued to dominate and scores came from Sean Roberts, Martin Brennan, Jeff Neary and Pat Purcell.
Final Score GBC 9-7 Thomastown 1-3.
