U-10 camogie news

Match report by Olivia Hogan.

Last Saturday 4th July saw the under 10 girls travel to Ballyhale for their 2nd blitz of the season. The sun was shining and so was every one of the 12 players. Micky Dermody was going to be busy when Nada Power and Ella Delahunty set the tone, that we were a fast and tough bunch. Butsy(Sarah), Has(Hannah) and Titch(Kirsten) were 3 little flyers as they pulled hard for every ball, Ballyhale didn’t stand a chance.

As the 2nd match commenced, injury wasn’t holding Amy Walton back, scoring a goal to prove it. Katie Maher and Lauren Ronan did fantastic work in the backs, leaving Ballyhale and Mooncoin very little chance of scoring. You’d never think this was an under 10s match, such was the level of skill. Rachel Ronan and Sarah D did great work in the forwards, only inches came between them and a score. Katie Marnell and Grace Delaney had centre field under their control, there was no way anything was going to be lost. A fantastic result with 3 wins out of 3. Hopefully the injured Hogie and jetsetter Robyn will be ready for the next outing. Well done girls, keep up the good work!
