GBC first U12 Go Games fixture started on an away trip to Young Ireland’s on Sat 25th July resulting in a loss after the lads started well. Young Ireland’s just had that bit extra in front of goal.
For first time teams from Co Laois were entered into Kilkenny GO GAMES, next up for GBC was the visit of Abbeyleix to Tom Ryall Park. This was a very entertaining match, the two teams were well matched and it ended in a good win for GBC.
GBC brought their good form from the last match to Thomastown on 7th August, this was GBC’s best performance to date, a great win for the lads.
Next up was an away match to St Martin’s on August 21st with GBC winning on a very comfortable scoreline.
GBC U12s look forward to the Regional Festival Finals next weekend.
