St. Brigid’s U14 girls travelled to Portlaoise on 11th August for a challenge game against the Laois champions.
With a strong wind against us in first half we were unlucky with all the scoring chances we had. Only up by one point at half time, the girls hurled out of their skins in second half having the benefit of the strong wind and left the home side scoreless in the second half. Final score- St. Brigid’s 4-10 to Portlaoise 0-3. Well done to a super bunch of girls! – Report by Mary East
