Graigue Ballycallan 3-22 Cloneen/Railyard 0- 8
Graigue Ballycallan ran out comprehensive winners against Cloneen/Railyard in Palmerstown on Monday 7th August in the Championship 1st Round. After an uncertain few minutes the lads settled in and raced to an early lead thanks to great link up play in the forward lines. On the night the backs dealt with any attacks at ease and kept their opponents to shooting from distance.
After building a comfortable advantage at the break, the mentors made lots of changes to get a look at the panel and plan ahead for the Quarter Final to be played in the coming weeks. So back to training with lots to work on but content with the work rate and attitude shown by everybody on the night.
