Our U12 girls participated in a camogie blitz in Johnstown on Saturday last 16th June and the windy cold weather didn’t stop this lovely bunch of U12 girls from impressing. Our first game was against the hosting team Johnstown, where we had a great win on a scoreline of St. Brigid’s 3-1 to Johnstown 0-0.
In the second game against Tullaroan we faced very tough opposition. This was by far the hardest game we have played to date and sadly after a tough battle we lost out on a scoreline of Tullaroan 5-2 St. Brigid’s 1-0.
Our final game of the day was against Dicksboro, a brilliant game and the end result there was St. Brigid’s 1-0 Dicksboro 1-0. A great finish to another brilliant performance! All the girls played brilliantly on the day and as always they did their club proud. Well done to all involved. St. Brigid’s abú!
