St. Brigid’s took an early lead with a goal from Siún Corcoran in the opening minutes of the match. Minutes later, Gowran replied with a goal to bring the game to a draw. Team effort and scores from Eadaoin Murphy kept the girls going and although the girls fought hard, with the most possession in the first half, they were still coming up a little short as Gowran took the lead at half time by a point leaving it Gowran 2-3 and St. Brigid’s 2-2.
