We held a very successful Timber Auction on Sunday 26th September to raise vital funds for the running of our club. We had 45 loads of timber, 10 bales of hay, 6 bales of straw and a load of lime. This was made possible by our hard-working committee, our ever ready year-on-year donors along with our many customers and not least our helpers who delivered the loads to the customers homes. Huge thanks to all the above people and we hope to see you all in 2022.

GBC U13’s continued their journey in this year’s Championship with an epic Semi Final that had everything – big leads, big comeback, last minute drawn points, extra time, penalties.
It was probably the best €5 the spectators will have paid this year.
The pitch in Callan was in perfect condition and with the rain holding off, the conditions were great but a stiff breeze blowing down the pitch would help the team attacking that end.
We now have the full table of results of our Forecast Competition after the final round of matches.

Last Monday evening Graigue Ballycallan Minors took on St. Martin’s of Muckalee in the Kilkenny Honda Centre Roinn B League Final in Dunmore
The locals got off to a quick start with two points on the board in the first few minutes. St. Martin’s were a strong physical team and let the locals know they were there to give them a game and soon equalised. It was an evenly contested game until Muckalee struck for a well-taken goal shortly before the water break. Read more
Clara made a bright opening and only for some great defending by the full back line of Oran, Aidan and Robbie Lynch and in particular Sean McGrath’s goal keeping skills, we could have found ourselves a goal or two down early on. Once we settled into the game, we began to dominate key positions. Midfield’s pairing of Frank and Michael soon got on top of things to send in good ball to our forwards. Substitutes Sean O’ Halloran, Keelan and Shane Hogan made a great impact on the team to help us get over the final line. Ben Young at full forward impressed scoring 2-1 to have his best game of the season so far, ably assisted by the young but skillful deadly duo Cormac and Ben Mc. We won this game on a score line of GBC 2-3 Clara 0-4. Scorers: Ben Young 2-1, Cormac Neary 0-1, Eoghan Cahil 0-1. Read more

Graigue Ballycallan GAA Club and St Brigid’s Camogie Club are in the process of a massive development at the club grounds in Kilmanagh and Ballycallan Parish have kindly agreed that the proceeds of the new Lotto will be given to GBC GAA Club until June 2023 to fund this development.
The new Lotto format will be an online version with many ways to pay and play.
