Féile fundraiser for St. Brigid’s Camogie Club – time to recycle your old clothes, shoes, household textiles and handbags. Fill as many bags as you can and drop to St. Aidan’s NS., Kilmanagh before May 28th. Bags can be dropped in to school all day Friday 23rd during voting times. All support greatly appreciated.

Champions Sunday is a unique opportunity to raise funds for the Kilkenny Special Olympics Team and for young boys and girls – to meet their heroes. Our Special Olympic athletes will compete in the All-Ireland games, which will be held in the University of Limerick in June. It promises to be a great games and we want to send them on their way, by celebrating their unique achievement. Read more
Congrats to Tommy Ronan, Jesse Roberts, Killian Egan, Ciaran Hogan and Aaron Brennan who were all part of the St. Kieran’s College team that won the Leinster Junior Colleges final in St. John’s Park on Thursday 8th May 2014. St. Kieran’s were managed by Tom Hogan and they were playing against Kilkenny CBS who were managed by another Graigue Ballycallan clubman, Thomas Ryan. Well done all!

Dicksboro 1-14
On a breezy Saturday afternoon in Tom Ryall Park, Graigue Ballycallan Junior B team took on Dicksboro. Graigue started well going ahead after a James Gleeson point. However, Dicksboro made use of the wind and began to score freely with some good long-range points. GBC did not lie down though and regained the lead with a hard-fought goal from Padraig Murphy. After a day of torrential rain, the sun came out for a perfect evening for hurling. Emeralds of Urlingford were the hosts in the 3rd and final round of the North Junior A Hurling League. Graigue Ballycallan knew that a win would guarantee a top of the table finish regardless of other results. Read more

The U12 team had their first run out of the season on Thursday evening when Danesfort visited with a strong squad of 17 players. Numbers is certainly no issue with this group as we have 27 players registered for the year ahead.
