Graigue Ballycallan GAA Club – One of the 25 winners of Carroll’s Ham Set of Jerseys and the only winning Kilkenny club. Thanks to club member Colum Dillon who entered the competition on behalf of the club. We look forward to seeing our U12s kitted out in these in 2016!
The Annual Drive for Liam Radio Quiz Night was held across forty three centres on Thursday 27th August last. This is one of the fund-raising events held by Kilkenny GAA in an effort to raise funds for the Senior Kilkenny Hurling Team in the run up to their All-Ireland appearance against Galway on the 6th September. The Graigue-Ballycallan GAA Club and St. Brigid’s Camogie Club annual Family Fun Day took place on the 23rd August last. For several weeks coming up to the event, countless numbers of club volunteers worked tirelessly in preparation for what is now a well established and much anticipated local event. In the days prior to the 23rd, meteorologists, both local and national were predicting weather, which ranged from showers to tropical downpours!. The annual Drive for Liam Table Quiz in association with KCLR and in aid of Kilkenny All-Ireland Training Fund will be held in Brennan’s Bar, Kilmanagh on Thursday night 27th August at 8.30pm sharp. Great prizes including All-Ireland Tickets, accommodation in Citywest Hotel & tickets to the Banquet. There will be local prizes on the night as well. Team of 4 is €20. Please support!
