Billy Malone Memorial Camogie Tournament

Match reports -Our first round of games took place just after 10am. St. Brigid’s were up against neighbours Danesfort first and after a tough battle, goals made all the difference. Final score was 4-2 to 2-5. On the other pitch our travelling teams took each other on, Naas showed great skill and had a very talented set of forwards, they came out winners over Mount Leinster Rangers on a scoreline of 2-10 to 4 points. Camogie team building day in Derg Isle

 A huge well done to the Intermediates who completed a very physically and mentally challenging but enjoyable day on Saturday 26th August at Derg Isle Team Building Centre in Scariff, Co. Clare. Thank you very much to the centre for their work with the girls yesterday making it a very worthwhile experience for the team and management. A special congratulations to the girls for smashing the ladies team’s record in the log run at the end of the day. Highly recommended for any sports teams! Cash for Clobber Collection fundraiser

St Brigid’s Camogie Club will hold a Cash for Clobber collection on 9th September at the clubrooms. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, bed linen, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, belts and soft toys.
NO HOUSEHOLD BRIC A BRAC.
The more 10kg bags collected the more money raised for the club so get de-cluttering!

Kilkenny senior camogie beat the Dubs

Well done to Aisling Dunphy and the Kilkenny Senior Camogie team who got the win against Dublin on 22nd July in Kilmanagh in the 5th round. They won 3-14 to 8 points. Thank you to those who helped in the kitchen and donated baking and to our stewards. Our U10 girls got to play at half time in front of the large crowd & also gave the girls a guard of honour onto the pitch.

Kilkenny vs Dublin camogie league

Kilkenny vs Dublin Senior Camogie 5th round will take place in Kilmanagh next Saturday 22nd July. Throw in at 5.30pm. Please support the girls and our own Aisling Dunphy. We will be asking for donations of baking for the kitchen and also for help in the kitchen on the day. We would also ask for stewards to park cars etc. Thank you

Féile comes to Kilmanagh in 1 week! St Brigid’s are hosting Gailtir from Waterford. We need help in the kitchen on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Also home baking please needed for the weekend.
