GBC started well but Emeralds struck a goal before half time leaving it 1-01 to 1-00. Emeralds struck again early in the second half, leaving the lads behind 2-00 to 1-01, but they stood up well and drew level on the final whistle. There were great scores from Billy Egan, Conor Walton, Aaron McEvoy, Sean Roberts and Martin Brennan.
